New trade plan for tomorrow (5/8)

Long IYR! If there is no good entry point for me to enter at close or AH today, I will wait to load long positions on IYR (probably using URE 2x ETFs) tomorrow.

XLF remains bearish in my system while SPY and QQQQ are neutral.

ps. URE is rising after I posted this. Not a very attractive entry for me. Maybe wait for tomorrow.

  3. Sorry, I mean URE@$3.6 URE is 2x bullish real estate ETF. I always play leveraged ETF following the calls from the Pivot Trend system, since the system is a short-term player.

  4. After reading your post, I planned to add URE at 3.55, not filled. Thanks anyway for all the trading ideas.

  5. URE is flying almost +4%, $3.77 now. I will like to see how it opens tomorrow. If it flies higher and never looks back, then let it go. I won't chase high if that happens.

  6. Are you trading for URE for a day trade?

Just curious, because I'm heavy long SRS. Why are you bullish on real estate?

  7. My trades on SRS/URE are usually for 1-2 days. The Pivot Trend System that I am using captures each mini-cycles of market moves. You can find my old post with the chart of IYR. Green and red arrows stand for buy and sell at close.
I closed my trades on SRS yesterday (5/7) by locking good profits. Plan to trade URE for today, but seems it will fly away from my comfortable entry price. May re-loaded SRS depends on how market moves and what my system provides me today.

  8. By the way, I don't have any bullish or bearish views on real estate, whether housing market is bottom out, whether commercial real estate will be the next crisis soon, etc. I don't care that much. To me, just trade it!
